Funds & eligibility
Nine federal areas
The SVIKG finances additional federal investment in these areas (§ 4(1)):
- civil and population protection
- transport infrastructure
- hospital infrastructure
- energy infrastructure
- education, childcare and science infrastructure
- research and development
- digitalisation
- construction and housing
- sport
The investment only counts as additional if the federal budget itself allocates more than 10% of its spending to investment (§ 4(3)). Every new federal measure requires a cost-effectiveness analysis and a success control (§ 10).
